Private Bedroom Gallery
This project was one of my first and it was really good experience as I needed to plan the space around all of the clients needs - due to the room being quite small for the mount of storage and space they needed this was difficult but we made-it work and now it is a beautiful functional bedroom and office space. Due to this space being a private one I am not at liberty to show any final images as it has personal belongings of the client but here are some images of the design process.
Above is the bedroom space after we had taken most of the furniture out and covered it all ready to paint.
The room was this royal blue before which the client had on their walls since they were young so they wanted a new look for their room.
Above is the bedroom after we painted it in a cornflower blue on the walls with a basic white ceiling to help bounce the light around the room.
The space had a large wardrobe in it that was not being used properly so we decided to take off the doors to this wardrobe and use it as an open storage space. I decided, to help the client stay organised, to put in some storage cubes as they fit the style of the room. We originally discussed a desk that was taken out of the equation for a while until we came up with this solution. The client worked from home a lot and needed a space for a desk, so using the space that was the wardrobe we created a small office nook.
